Just One Of Those Nice Days
Elaine, Dolores, Ross and I started off the day by having breakfast at our local diner. We heard that two popular personalities from our local radio station were going to be broadcasting from the diner.

Boo cuz they wouldn’t give a "Ciao to Uncle Bobby”.

We met Ray the prize guy. The only “prize” he gave us, though was a coffee refill.

I have created a page for Anna's Diary. It can be found under the Tab titled Anna's Diary.
I have posted all of the entries to date there, starting with January 1, 1929.
Here is today's entry from Anna's Diary:
Sat., May 4, 1929
Went to Broad to see Helen Menken play in Congai. Very wonderful. Had supper downtown and Jean, Edythe and I went to Shubert to see Rio Rita. Enjoyed it.
Love the pictures, especially the one of the ribbon around the fence
ReplyDeleteSweet! I love the yellow ribbon photo and the greetings to Uncle Bobby!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you today especially.
Your photos are lovely. especially the yellow ribbon. I could almost feel the sand.
ReplyDeleteThank you. It was beautiful on the beach.
ReplyDeleteThank you JT. Because you remember, my heart is warmed.
ReplyDeleteI'm very disappointed that those radio personalities could not spare a "ciao Uncle Bobby." But I love the photos as always and the video at the end was like a little cherry on top. :)
