Instead of having breakfast at the place where we usually have breakfast we went here instead.

Yum...Ross’s Breakfast |
We were going to walk across the Hudson River way on top of this bridge,
but, it was too hot.
We are still somewhere else. When we get back to where we usually are, well, just you wait.

I have created a page for Anna's Diary. It can be found under the Tab titled Anna's Diary.
I have posted all of the entries to date there, starting with January 1, 1929.
Here are the catch up days from Anna’s diary:
Wed. June 19, 1929
Home in morning. Jean and I went shopping. Stopped at hospital to see Sarah Andrews. She was away on her vacation. Jewel and Jean came to movies in evening.
Thurs. June 20, 1929
Went to Union for lunch with Elsie and Cecile. Home about six. All excitement over Billy’s graduation at Barringer tonight. He won Bamberger’s Gold medal and several others. Brightest.
[Bill is Anna’s younger brother]
Friday June 21, 1929
Bill’s picture in morning paper regarding medals he was given at the graduation for brightest honor student. Went to a lecture with Mrs. Poole to hear Dagmar Perkins alias Jean Lambert Dale.
Looks like you had a great day. My stepson is a graduate of the CIA Hyde Park. Boy, does he cook amazing! It sure is hot here in NYC these past few days..>Hope it breaks soon!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are too funny! You make me laugh in a good way! I want to walk across that Walkway thingy - looks oh ,so cool! I wish it were HOT here - it might have gotten up to 70 yesterday..... foggy and gray out there right now - 57 degrees. I have my hoodie on here at the dining room table b/c I refuse to turn the heater on in the summer. Would rather wear a hoodie and a blanket.... crazy woman.
ReplyDeleteThat walkway was cool. I know it may not be as exciting or challenging as walking a tight rope over Niagara Falls, but I have put it on my bucket list.
ReplyDeleteI think our brief heat wave is over. We have been having severe thunder storms all day today.
I was so impressed with CIA. Especially with the attentive and excellent service. Looks like our heat wave is about to break, huh?
