It’s time to participate in the April A-Z Blog Challenge. I will be blogging every day in April, with Sunday’s off.
The topic for each day will begin with the designated letter of the alphabet.
This Tuesday’s letter is S.
Simply said, I’m simply sad.
It was more than a mom’s sensitivity. I sensed the anguish in her voice when she said, “something’s wrong.” That very moment was when my being began to fracture.
It was more than a mom’s worry. It was the naked look of concern when she spoke of incurable and cancer. That very moment was when my light began to fade.
It was more than a mom’s ache. It was the way he talked about tomorrow. That very moment was when my spirit began to wither.
It was more than a mom’s intuition. It was the nightmare of his last breath. That very moment was when my heart split apart.

I'm so sorry; I just read your profile this evening and saw about your son, Joseph. I'm assuming you are writing about him; the thing every parent dreads you are living with; again I am so sorry.
